About Lucy Mac Interiors

As long as I can remember I’ve had a fascination with beautiful homes and the design and decorative aspects of how they come together. How the colours on display complement each other and the textures are not all the same, but somehow, it doesn’t matter. They seem to fit in anyway.

Growing up with three siblings in a multi-generational family home, we never had the luxury of much space to ourselves and always had to share bedrooms with nowhere to escape to for a bit of quiet time. I have always dreamt of having my own quiet oasis to sit and think and ponder the future.

When purchasing our first home, I dabbled with a few major pieces of furniture and found a few accessories to add some flair. That seems like a long time ago now. As anyone searching for the perfect home will know, when scrolling through real estate pages, there are so many homes that look absolutely stunning. How do they manage to always look so flawless? Well, I found out when years later, we put it on the market and the real estate agent suggested we have the home staged to maximise the selling price.

That inspiration unwittingly led me to enrol in a Diploma of Interior Design course. I will be documenting my journey through my studies, with all the ups and downs as they occur. Why not come along for the ride? I will begin shortly as I’m putting this website together in preparation for starting my studies.

When my social media is all setup, I hope you will follow along there too. I’m so excited to start this creative journey.
