My Website is Live

There were a couple of days after my last post when I felt somewhat overwhelmed by the process. Therefore, I didn’t get much done at that time. However, I got started on setting up Mailchimp which is an email marketing service. This way, when you sign up to receive updates from the Lucy Mac Interiors blog, it’s an automated way to send you an email. This is to say hey, come on over and read my current news.

It took a while as I was a little rusty on how it all fits together and of course, life happens but now I’m on track to the next stage which is listing my site in web directories and letting the search engines know that I would like for them to come and find me so I start showing up when people are searching for Interior Design, or Home Staging or Home Decor for example, my site will get into those listings. I will be doing some research and then adding tags and categories to each post to make them stand out much more.

So that’s where I am now. I hope to get back to writing in a few days after search engine optimisation has kicked in.
